LOS ANGELES, Aug 21 — It’s surprising to discover that a YouTube channel belonging to a major Hollywood star has managed to flown under the radar until now.
The said channel belongs to Oscar-winning actor Matthew McConaughey, and unlike the YouTube channels for most social media-savvy stars, has remained unnoticed until a Reddit user wrote about the channel, which brought it to the attention of E! Online.
The entertainment site wrote that McConaughey has just over 45,000 subscribers at the time of writing, although that has grown to more than 66,000 subscribers now that the news has been revealed.
Part of the reason for the low number of subscribers could be because McConaughey is an infrequent poster and mostly uses the channel to promote his movies and raise awareness of the charities he is involved in, including the Just Keep Livin Foundation that raises money to support students at inter-city high schools, and the I Am Waters Foundation that works on delivering water to the homeless.
A closer look showed that he can go for months without posting, at times, but now that the news is out, fans may clamour to see more content from the hunky star.
