LOS ANGELES, Oct 19 — More details of Kim Kardashian’s Paris robbery have been revealed by the concierge at venue.
In an interview with the Daily Mail, the man identified only as Abdulrahman said that he had warned Hôtel de Pourtalès over the lack of security but it had fallen on deaf ears.
“There was no real security at all. It’s a choice,” Abdulrahman said.
“The hotel doesn’t mind about security. We told them year and years before, you have to make a camera, you have to put [in place] a security process, about keys. Nothing was locked, there was no proper security there. Everyone knew it.”
Abdulrahman recalled being forced at gunpoint to the reality star’s apartment by the robbers who were dressed as police officers. They then forced him to act as their interpreter as they grilled a screaming Kardashian over the whereabouts of money and precious belongings. He also revealed that pleaded with the thieves not to injure Kardashian.
“I was in the room of Kim Kardashian. One was attacking her, the second one was with me. I saw Kim being pulled out of bed.”
“I told him, ‘I ask you, don’t hurt her.’ I repeated it. He told me, ‘don’t worry, we are here for money.’ I repeated another time, ‘please don’t hurt her.’ He told me: ‘Keep calm and all will be OK. Don’t move or make a sound’,” DailyMail quoted Abdulrahman as saying.
“One of the gang kept telling her to shut up. I put my hand on her shoulder and told her to be calm. I said, you have to be silent, you know. She sat down on the bed. She asked me, are we going to die? I said, I don’t know, how can I know?”
He continued: “She said, I have family and babies. I told her, me too, I have one son. And she began to scream again. That’s why he put the tape on her mouth. A long piece of tape, all the way round her head.”
They also bound her feet and hands and dumped her on the floor.
Abdulrahman went on to say that the robbers fled after he told them that Kardashian’s bodyguard Pascal Duvier would turn up with the police soon if she didn’t answer his call.
