The game, playable on your phone or on your computer, requires you only to surf to a URL, no installs necessary.

Your challenge is to keep swiping to keep your boredom at bay; once your boredom bar is full, game over. “Stop swiping and you might get too bored to live” the app’s cheeky instruction says, a statement on the modern fixation we have for our smartphones.

Give it a try if you’re truly bored as, at the very least, you won’t have to actually talk to a real person.
