JOHOR BARU, Nov 4 ― It was raining cats and dogs but that did not deter more than 1,500 fans of the Johor Darul Ta’zim football team from patiently queuing to board buses to make the journey to Shah Alam this morning for the Malaysia Cup final tonight.
Checks by Bernama at the compound of the Tan Sri Hassan Yunos Larkin Stadium here at 7am found more than 30 buses lined up to ferry the eager supporters to the Shah Alam Stadium. The journey will take about four hours.
One of the fans, Noorazlinad Hassan, 31, said he was very excited to make the trip and was certain that the South Tigers would bring home the Cup.
The final is between JDT and Kedah. Kick-off is at 9pm.
