For newlyweds Yuna and Adam Sinclair, it was a chance to catch her “brother”  – Incubus guitarist Mike Einziger -- in action.

“I see him and his wife like my older brother and sister.

“He’s a great influence to me and whenever I’m in Los Angeles, I pay them a visit,” said the 31-year-old.

In fact in September 2013, the Kedah-born singer shocked her fans when Einziger performed with her at Istana Budaya.

The duo performed some of her originals Deeper Conversation, Mr Musician and I Wanna Go before doing a cover of Incubus’ I Miss You.

“Incubus was one of my favourite bands growing up.

“I love their 'live' shows and appreciate the lyrics. This is my fifth Incubus show,” said Yuna.

“It also felt a bit like a honeymoon. We’ve been to several concerts but this was a bit special than the others because it was our first as a married couple.”

About 2,400 fans turned up at the sold-out KL Live yesterday for the band's fourth show in the country.

Lead singer Brandon Boyd who turns 42 tomorrow was given a treat as the Malaysian fans sang a birthday song for him at the start of the night before he wrapped up the night with two of the band's greatest hits, Drive and The Warmth.

The concert is to support the band’s latest album 8 featuring the single Nimble Bastard which peaked at number four on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Songs chart.
