Set after the conclusion of Revenge of the Sith but before Star Wars: A New Hope Rogue One is the first real twist on the existing franchise since its reboot in 2015 and is one of the most hotly anticipated films of the year.

And those that can’t wait until its release on December 16 to get the inside track are going to have to turn to Twitter.

Starting on Friday, December 2 the network will be live streaming events including Q&A sessions with the film’s director and cast, plus behind-the-scenes commentary and footage.

“Disney and Lucasfilm are always seeking out innovative ways to tell great stories and engage with fans around the world,” said Ricky Strauss, President, Marketing, The Walt Disney Studios. “We’re thrilled to join forces with Twitter and People to create this can’t-miss Rogue One event that gives Star Wars fans a behind-the-scenes peek at one of the most talked-about movies of the year.” — AFP-Relaxnews
