TORONTO, Sept 22 — Two-time Grammy award winner The Weeknd has revealed the album art and title for his next long player, which will be called Starboy, but fans are kept waiting for a release date.
Earlier this year, Canadian alternative R&B artist Abęl Tesfaye collected a Grammy for second studio album and 2015 bestseller Beauty Behind the Madness, and another for single Earned It.
After The Weeknd’s contribution to a track from Kanye West’s February album The Life of Pablo, cover art for Starboy comes courtesy of Kanye photographer Nabil Elderkin.
Debut studio album Kiss Land emerged in 2013, a year after mixtape compilation Trilogy in 2012.
Announced via a September 21 post from The Weeknd’s Twitter account, fans and observers are left guessing as to whether 2016 will prove too soon for Starboy. — AFP-Relaxnews
