Reynolds had recently dished about his bromance with Jake Gyllenhaal in a recent interview with Good Morning America, where he also let out that Gyllenhaal just be a little bit better in the kitchen than wife Blake Lively.

“Blake, my wife is very good at cooking and Jake (Gyllenhaal) might just be little bit better. He can throw down, it gets very competitive between the two.”

Following that, the two actors sat down for another interview, this time with E! Newstoday, where Reynolds revealed his comments didn’t go down too well.

“Funnily enough, I’m actually living right now in an actual doghouse,” Reynolds joked.

“Baxter is usually staying in there, but he’s moved out for now. He’s been upgraded to the main bed,” he added.

“They get competitive with cooking, they’re both incredibly accomplished chefs.”

Gyllenhaal also piped in, admitting their competition is “exactly like Chopped”.

One would think that at this point Reynolds would have the sense to not make the same mistake again but no, he once again couldn't help but gush about Gyllenhaal’s specialties.

“You do simple stuff really well,” he told Gyllenhaal.

“I’m serious. You’ve made salmon and steak. Those things are really good. I’m simple; like bowls of cereal I’ll do really well. He’s very good at the staples.”

Guess we know who will be ordering takeout for the next few nights!
