LOS ANGELES, March 21 — The cult TV show The Big Bang Theory has been renewed for another two seasons, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The CBS/Warner Bros multi-camera television comedy isn’t over yet, fans will be glad to hear. The Big Bang Theory might cost an estimated US$10 million (RM44 million) per episode, but makes up for its high production costs with its status as broadcast TV’s n.1 scripted series in viewer numbers in adults 18-49 and 25-54. A spinoff entitled Young Sheldon has recently been ordered.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, actors Jim Parsons (Sheldon), Johnny Galecki (Leonard) and Kaley Cuoco (Penny) have agreed on a slight pay cut for the two upcoming seasons, while Melissa Rauch (Bernadette) and Mayim Bialik (Amy) are still in negotiations. — AFP-Relaxnews
