LOS ANGELES, Oct 25 — The former girlfriend of Twiggy Ramirez has thanked Marilyn Manson for giving his longtime bassist and guitarist the boot after she accused him of assault.
In an October 20 Facebook post, Jessicka Addams, singer of the band Jack Off Jill, accused Ramirez — whose real name is Jeordie White — of rape and abuse during their relationship which began in the early 90s when she was just 18 years old.
Addams also said her record company threatened to blacklist Jack Off Jill if she went public with her accusations against Ramirez, which is why she waited to come forward.
“I have decided to part ways with Jeordie White as a member of Marilyn Manson,” Manson wrote on Twitter yesterday. “He will be replaced for the upcoming tour. I wish him well.”

On Instagram, Manson added, “This is a sad day.”
In response, Addams tweeted: “Thank you. I am truly at a loss for words.”
