LONDON, June 20 — Singer Adele has shown her support for the London firefighters who tackled the Grenfell Tower inferno by visiting them at their fire station for “a cup of tea and a cuddle”.
According to Hello!, she made a surprise visit to the crew at Chelsea Fire Station, much to their delight.
The London Fire Brigade shared pictures of the visit on their official Twitter.
Firefighter Rob Petty also wrote on Facebook: “Not every day the wonderfully grounded and caring Adele pops into Chelsea Fire Station for a cup of tea and a cuddle X.”

The visit comes after Adele was spotted among the people who gathered on June 14 close to the 24-storey Grenfell Tower in west London, following its destruction in a catastrophic fire that killed dozens of residents and left hundreds more homeless.
Adele, one of the biggest selling artists in the world, did not announce her attendance or make any public statement.
Her fans praised her compassion and discretion on social media.
