De Niro, 73, is one of a number of celebrities who took part in what was supposed to be a non-partisan #VoteYourFuture initiative, but his scathing opinion was considered too partisan to be included in the final campaign, and was instead released separately by the producers last Friday.

The video ends with De Niro asking, “This is somebody that we want for president? I don’t think so.” He then notes that he’s “worried” about the fate of the country with someone like Trump: “If you care about your future, vote for it,” De Niro urges.
