Two hurt as crane crashes on cars

The crane damaged two cars.

In the 1pm incident, a man suffered minor injuries after a part of the crane landed on his car. Another car parked nearby was also damaged.

A woman running away from the scene suffered a broken shoulder after she was hit by the crane.

A spokesman for the Civil Defence Force said the injuries were not serious.

The project is being undertaken by investment and property development company UDA Holdings Berhad.

The company said in a statement it had closed the site temporarily and was conducting an investigation.

It was learnt that a 44-storey apartment complex named “Legasi Kampong Bharu” is being put up on the site.
