SHAH ALAM, Feb 10 — Selangor Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Azmin Ali today played down recent reports of Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia's (PPBM) unhappiness over the latest state seat-sharing announcement.
PPBM information chief Sallehudin Amiruddin had said that his chapter would not agree with the Selangor PH announcement that 35 out of the 56 seats in the state had been decided.
Sallehudin said PPBM is eyeing 12 Umno state seats, but claimed those seats have been given to PKR.
Azmin, however, said Pakatan Harapan (PH) seat negotiations is still ongoing.
The PKR deputy president said, “It (democracy) is a noisy process and we should allow them to voice their opinion... it is very healthy,” he told reporters after officiating a state-level event.
“Even if five per cent of those from within the coalition is unhappy about the seat arrangement, it must be addressed."
Azmin said he could not give further details on the matter though as he does not sit in the committee involved.
