KUALA TERENGGANU, Sept 23 — The speculation that four menteris besar will be replaced was spread by people who wanted to create conflict among Umno members, said Terengganu Mentri Besar Ahmad Razif Abd Rahman.
“Do not be concerned about any speculation and rumour being circulated at the moment,” he told reporters at his official residence Seri Iman here after he and his wife Halina Zakaria returned from the Holy Land following their pilgrimage.
He said the Terengganu leadership would carry on with the agenda and focus on the next general election by fulfilling promises for the benefit of people in the state.
There had been speculation that Ahmad Razif, Pahang Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Adnan Yaakob, Kedah Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Bashah Md Hanipah and Negri Sembilan Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan would be replaced before the next general election, due by June 2018. — Bernama
