Datuk Bung Moktar Radin, MP for Kinabatangan, said he was convinced the people would continue to back Umno and BN because “we have a track record and trademark”.

“The BN government always listens to the people’s grievances and strives to resolve their problems. That’s our advantage.

“We may not agree on issues but we remain united and this is to the advantage of BN because we understand our respective struggles,” he told reporters at the pre-launch of the Felcra 50th anniversary celebration at the main compound of Sri Pentas here.

Mohd Shafie reportedly said he had taken over a political party established in Sabah in 2013 and it was in the process of having the name and logo changed.  — Bernama
