KUALA LUMPUR, June 9 ― Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (PPBM) should lead Pakatan Harapan in the next general elections, DAP member Datuk Zaid Ibrahim said today.
“PKR can be smart and allow Bersatu to lead GE14 and win; or continue feeling aggrieved and indulge in self pity. Its D Day today #fb.
“DAP and Amanah can decide to be realistic; or they can continue with their fantasy. Its D Day for them too #fb,” Zaid tweeted.

Malay Mail Online reported today that Pakatan Harapan’s newest member PPBM was seeking to lead the federal Opposition pact, suggesting that PPBM chairman Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad and PPBM president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin be made Pakatan Harapan chairman and president respectively.
In PPBM’s proposal for the official Pakatan Harapan presidential council lineup, the less-than-a-year-old party suggested that PKR president Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah be the Opposition pact’s deputy chair, PKR deputy president Datuk Seri Azmin Ali as Pakatan Harapan deputy president, and DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng and Parti Amanah Negara (Amanah) president Mohamad Sabu as the coalition’s vice presidents.
A Pakatan Harapan leader told Malay Mail Online that the DAP and Amanah were unhappy with PPBM’s proposal.
