SEREMBAN, Dec 2 — The body of a Bangladeshi man suspected to have been murdered was found at a unit of the Cempaka Puri Flats in Nilai near here last night.
Nilai Police chief Supt Zaldino Zaludin said in a statement that the body of Bilal Hossain, 30, was found at 8.51pm.
The body, clad in an orange T-shirt and sarong, was in a pool of blood on the floor of the living room with a slash wound on the neck, he said, adding that a kitchen knife was also found there.
He said it was learnt that the man was unemployed and was squatting in the unit and that he would get drunk and become noisy at night.
“We believe that more than one person was involved in the murder, and we are looking for the other occupants of the unit who had fled,” he said.
The body had been sent to the Tuanku Jaafar Hospital, he added. — Bernama
