NEW YORK, Nov 30 — A newlywed couple made the best of a bad situation when they got stuck in traffic on the way to their reception by sharing their first dance on the highway.
According to New York Daily News, Jeff and Rebecca Payne, of Centerville, Ohio, were on the way to their wedding reception in the city of Dayton on November 26 after exchanging vows, when a five-car accident brought the highway to a complete standstill.
The newlyweds were stranded for two hours only a short distance from the highway exit for their reception when a stranger suggested they get out and share their first dance in the middle of the highway.
Photographer and videographer Levi Curby captured the memorable moment on camera, where the couple is seen slow-dancing to Alison Krauss' When You Say Nothing At All.
The couple eventually made it to their reception, after the memorable moment, the newspaper added.
