TOKYO, March 14 — We’ve all been there: when a growling belly drives our rational mind to distraction and we become irritable due to the hunger.
But one 16-year-old boy in Japan just took being hangry to a whole other level.
Yahoo! News Japan reported that the teenager claimed that hunger had triggered him to commit two acts of arson in one day on January 2 in a neighbourhood of Higashi Osaka City, when he was arrested last Tuesday.
The boy was quoted as saying: “I went to eat some curry, but the restaurant was closed. I got angry and used my lighter to start a fire.”
According to Yahoo! News Japan, two other fires took place on the same day but police have yet to determine if they were started by the teenager too.
All we can say is: boy, that must have been some mad curry craving.
