The restaurant is currently owned by the Vranken family, with the highly reputable Michelin-starred chef Julien Dumas heading the kitchen.

According to information available last week, several big names in the world of haute cuisine, including Alain Ducasse, were thought to be interested in taking over Lucas Carton should the owners be seeking to give up the restaurant. This has now been refuted. — AFP-Relaxnews
